looks gimmicky to me

give me a 14ft SOT that weighs 45lbs unloaded, and a carbon paddle and now we're talking.

I think its funny that it mentions "designed specifically for California coast". The 'raptor' does not look like what I would grab to fish pretty much anywhere most of us fish saltwater. I guess on the right day, you could fish anything anywhere.

BUT, I'll reserve true judgment until I see one in person or OTW :smt003.

hmmm yeah sit in...not really the best idea seems like the flared sides would be in the way on your paddle stroke. Oh well best of luck. You'd think a local would have been involved with NCKA on some level

I agree with you guys, not what I would expect from a local. In that I primarily fish Bean, I'd be spending most of my time bailing the Batyak cockpit.
