Camp Far West NON YAK PB wakeboarding

   Want to see what it's like to do 40-45 mph in a kayak? Have rope, will tow. I just thought I'd throw this out there. If it should not be here, I will take it down.

Would love to join but this is hell week at work. I can't afford to be too worn out for work Fri. I have to turn a 12 hr. day into a 6 so I can take my son sky diving for his B-day, Can't wait to push him out of a plane

Yak towing sounds intriguing.

Far west is a cool lake and has some nice camp spots but its also the drag boat capital of the world.  LOL.  seems like that anyway.  We camped there a couple years ago and they had some kind of event going on so the boats were raging back and forth down this one cove all day long.    At night they had a band playing till about 11 and the sound carried so well over the water (was across the lake from where we were) that we just got our chairs out and enjoyed it.

I ended up not going. Just cleaned the boat up, checked oil, new bilge pump, etc. I usually only go on week days to avoid the crowd. Never get to go New Years because I'm racing my car. 1st race of season is always on that day. I'm headed to delta on Sat around Brannan Island. My wife has friends down there this week, so I'm taking the boat Sat and Sun. If anyone wants to show up, call me 1st, 916-202-2631. I may have room for an extra body or so. Bringing yak to hit water in morn and eve for bass.
