using quotes????

I still haven't figured out exactly how the quotes feature works. When I use it I get the whole message instead of just the portion I wanted quoted... What am I doin' wrong.... Can someone spell it out in detail so I get it, Thankx

just delete the portion you don't want quoted.  that's probably the simplest way.

after you click "quote" edit or highlite the part you want "DELETED" and hit delete. You will see something like "the above" at the start and end of the quote. if you mess with the stuff between the brackets/parentheses, it will not work.

~then you'll see [/quote] at the bottom = that's where YOU type your reply.

Juan, you might've deleted the quote brackets. Keep the part at the beginning that is inside brackets ... and the part at the end that says [/quote]
