Actually they are already here!  On days when I drive, I frequently park by the Bay Bridge.  Saw this ship tied up and I thought, this ain't the love boat, wtf??  The ship is opening its deck to the public on thurs 6.24.10 from 1000 to noon or so.  Yesterday at around sunset, the crew was assembled on deck and was doing a presentation of sorts.

Anyone interested in paddling over and getting fish eye view?  If someone will join me, I'll bring my boat to work.  Launch outta china basin, or the concrete steps by Cupid's Arrow.

(Also considering swimming over and attempting to climb up their anchor chain...)

I'll ask a former navy jag in our office about repercussions.  doubt we'd get plinked.  so suit up art - we dive at five.

lol, secretly boarding a foreign warship does sound fun and completely legal but I can't find my water wings.....I'll have to pass on this one.

Thanks great Al but shouldn't it read "поддержка попрошайничать"
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

They are leading public tours right now.  there's a very long line all the way around the parking lot, and a bunch of guys in suits, going "harumph harumph"
