Perhaps some honest person could purchase raffle tix for you, if you're unable to attend the event. Otherwise, it's gonna be like "The deepfrier goes to number 53769. Is that person here? No? OK, bummer. I wonder who won. And I guess we aren't going to break-it-in with this fresh halibut fillet." Or something like that. At least this way, we could say "Hey! That's Ben's ticket, he won the deepfrier! Let's fill it full of manteca and drop this mercury-laden kingfish in there for him!"

So im gonna change the color to pink! :smt005........
Now you have my attention.

Actually, are people who are not attending able to buy raffle tickets as well?

Ben -

That would be hard to manage if people weren't physically present. Obviously, it is Brent's call.

Scott

I think its a group call, Im new to these NCKA events, so i dont want to ruffle any feathers or change any traditions....

We plan on selling the tickets the day of the event to keep things simple, ill have my mom posted up in a eazy-up with the tickets for purchase so bring some cash....

its up to you guys.... were here to raise money, but also get together to celebrate life and promote awareness....

Joels link explains the awareness part...

Ben - I am an Eagle Scout so you can trust me.  :smt005 Here is an option, just donate to the paypal for the event and let Brent know you want it applied for raffle tickets. Brent can give me your tickets and I can cash them in for you. Seriously, There is nothing I want from the raffle, except maybe Andy's fryer.  :smt044 Of course Brent would have to approve this.

Since I run the paypal, let me figure it out with Brent first if we want to do this.  Personally, I'm not opposed to it and think that all donations should count towards raffle tickets.  And I'm open to having everyone and anyone sign up, present or not.  But let us huddle and get back to you all.

That's Rey aka LapuLapu.  It's a clone of the Nike driver.  Hits pretty long if your swing is good.  It's huge so it is hard to miss the ball.

I'm waiting for someone to raffle off GPS coordinates to their favorite "secret spot"... :smt044

Seriously though, I am so looking forward to this event, and not just because of the prizes!  (Or the food...it'll be my first NCKA potluck and I understand them to be legendary)  :smt003

Considering the quality of the items being offered and the reason for the raffle in the first place, $25 per ticket is not out of line.
