Right on, I love topwater action and can only imagine getting slammed by a 32 lb bass on the surface!

Went out early this morning and decide to go out of the kelp beds to do some top water action since there wasn't any wind. I landed a 42" striper weighing in at 32lbs can you say a great morning?

On a completely unrelated note... what kind of scale did you use & where can I buy one?

Congrats on your catch, beautiful fish you have there. Ummm but 42" & 32lbs that is not.

Congadulations on the solid fish. Unless you are a giant and have a 3 foot wide chest it is more like a ten pounder, but it is a nice one.

I didn't even see the measurement part I was only looking at the fish!

Easy guys...I'm not sure about the weight, but there is nothing in this photo to indicate it's NOT 42".  The fish looks to be close to twice the width of his shoulders, which should cover 42", and according to the chart below, 32lbs is about right. The last (only??) 10lb striper I caught was 29" if I recall, and this fish has to be bigger than that.  He's not even doing the Fish Sniffer pose.  Dude, I believe you!

Yeah, now I feel bad. I was just messin around then everybody else jumped on. Sorry Maddiesdaddy, we joke because we care. I shoulda kept my mouth shut. Or just said 32lbs? 

Still a quality fish for the location, congrats.

....never the less, a great catch . Hoping to get a salty striper...definitely a devil fish for me
