Saturday, affter the MBK class, Sara and I drove down Hwy 1 to Capitola and took a look at the water there and it was just beautiful!  :smt007 Glassy, no wind, just wonderful out there!  So I decided I would hit it up on Sunday while Sara enjoys the day with a friend.   :smt002

I get out there, unload, see a beautiful sunrise and there is no wind, little cloudy, but looks like it will be a nice day. Not many people out there, guessing since its mothers day.  Get out to the first kelp bed and do some pot-holing the kelp, and catch my one and only fish for the outting.   :smt012

Then the wind started to pick up, and the sun rose up above the clouds giving no more heat, and it started to sprinkle.  Decided to head after only a few hours fishing and just got back to the beach when it started pouring!  Didn't know it was going to rain or I might have stayed home to work on gear for GMS4.  :smt004

Al,

Yeah after Saturday the weather kinda took a dive....had yesterday off work and made the right call by getting gear together for GS4 instead of going out cuz it rained off and on all day yesterday.

Sorry your trip was cut short by the weather...at least you got a few hours in though!!!

Sincerely,

Jim

Al,

Sorry to hear the weather did not cooperate for you and you had to cut your trip short. At least you got a few hours in before it turned ugly. Thanks for the report. Your first picture is pretty cool.

Glad you're able to put on some more salt hours under you belt this year Al.
Come to think of it, I better not forget my Scopace for GS4. Loved the first
picture bro.

There was that short little window Sunday morning, & then it all fell apart.

Good you got out Al, even a short session is better than none!

A few good pics are better than loads of mediocre pics. You scored the former, Al!
Thanks.
