IED for my IAD

Does anyone else here suffer massive itchy ass disorder ("IAD") after a day in the yak?  This weekend, i felt like an infant in need of a diaper change after wetting himself.  Both my adventure and caper seem to be really wet in the molded seat area.  The adventure has seat scuppers and the caper doesn't - yet both models give me IAD!!!    So I'm thinking this problem is independent of make/model (otherwise I'd have posted to the kayak zone.)  And I don't think is just some anatomical peculiarity of mine.  My brother got it Saturday also.

maybe its a HAC issue...nah it gets me as well. Hence the use of the drysuit or kokatat tempest pants.

my behind falls asleep after too long in the saddle and sometimes tingles a bit because of that but goes away after i move around a little.  i dont think i've had IAD although apparently my LPS is getting worse.

If I wear the same swimtrunks all day & all night for 4 consecutive...I usually get crotchrot (CR). Maybe you have a case of premature CR?  ...yet another reason why drybags are better than pool noodles

Don't laugh til you try it, copious amounts of baby powder, or if it feels more manly then use talcum powder, lots of it.

Try a different type of seat.   not alseats are not the same.

Walgreen's has something called anti monkey butt powder.  Haven'r tried it but it seems like it might be the "cure".
