Anyone have a prowler 13 rudder kit for sale?

Just throwing out the feelers.

www.austinkayak.com has the rudder kits for 225, free ship.. no tax for CA.

It's nearly impossible to find a rudder kit on sale/discount. Although, we DO get 15% off at austinkayak now!

My advice is to look for someone selling a P13 w/rudder on craigslist. Then tell them that you'll give em $100 for the rudder. Maybe even offer to remove the rudder yourself.

I haven't installed it on my T13 yet, so I don't know if it's any good. Supposed to be a better choice than the factory one for OK. I got mind from ebay for $120 without the blade. Just bought the blade for $20, so my rudder kit costs me ~$150 new.

Good luck finding the kit. I looked for a while but couldn't find any deal. If I were to buy a rudder kit now, I would just buy the Smart Track footbraces, and fabricate a simple rudder and mount myself.
