Saying Hello

Hi, thought I would introduce myself. I live in Monterey and fish from my kayak in the bay. Got hooked two summers ago on my brother n law kayak. Last summer got my first kayak a Two person and was out in it semi regular. Now this summer I am up to three kayaks! looking forward to salmon season and catching my first Ling hopefully.

You live in prime fishing country my friend.. This board has  a great deal of information on safety, equipment, rigging, tournaments, set togethers, not to mention a fantastic group of people.

Looking forward to meeting and fishing with you. There's quite a few of us in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. Heck, there's quite a few of us in about every county!!

thank you, Yes I have already learned alot from browsing around while I was waiting my acceptance e mail.
I picked up a better PFD from REI the other day, It is real comfortable even has pockets for knives ect, (now I have no excuse for not wearing it) and picked up a compass and few other things. Looking fwd to getting to know you guys.

....and if you ever bump into HDrich, make sure you get your complimentary bag of chips from him (and try to negotiate a bottle of salsa...if you can )
