Well, I survived my surgery yesterday.  Unfortunately, my surgeon's strong belief that it would be a simple "tidying up" turned out to be wrong.  When they got in there they found a tear in my rotator cuff...which means my recovery time will be longer than expected.  :smt010  Pics to follow.  :smt002

Welcome to the club brother.
At least they found it on the first go around.
Mine was Jan. 15th and I still don't have full range of motion and it still hurts but is improving slowly day by day.
I hit a milestone on Monday. I was able to cover my right ear with the palm of my right hand. Might not seem like a big deal, until you can't.
Take it very slow and easy and definitely don't push it!!!!!!!!
Easier said than done I know.
Playstation 3 with Tiger Woods Golf helped me get thru it.

The thing is, I'm already a member of the Dark Side.  :smt003  But there's no way I can lift my pig of an Outback onto our CR-V, much less my Toyota pickup.  That thing is the Oprah of the kayaking world.  :smt002

Thanks for the well-wishes everyone!
