Here's my delta bass report for March.

I've gotten out most weekends to hunt down the bass, and they are moving up.  I've been able to scratch out 3-7 bass most trips; most are small, under 3 pounds, but fun to catch.
A few have tipped the scales over three pounds, like these two:

Today I got to fish with Al and Sara and shared some of my secrets of Texas-rigged worming with them.  We had a great morning on the water, and found some nice fish at the first stop.
I got a few in the 2 pound class.  Al and Sara kept at it, and finally Al was rewarded with a nice chucky delta bass bendo.
Al was kind enough to share his luck; and I swung on a fish; and we had doubles on!
Here is Al showing his fish and Sara moving in for a pic from the other side too:

Where is the shot of my half of the double....well, the shy little fish out smarted the net and jumped out when I was paddling over towards Al!!  So much for a picture of the kayak double!
A bit later, Sara got bit, but it came unbuttoned.  You'll get 'em next time!

Al and Sara, I had a great time fishing with you today.  I hope we can do it again sometime.

Have a great week.

Mike--mostly worms and soft plastics.  I got a couple on the spinnerbait later in the day.

HB, cant thank you enough for the great time out there yesterday!! :smt003  I learned a lot and even caught a fish!  :smt005 My first on a Texas rigged worm no doubt!  Lost another since my drag was set too loose and as soon as I let off the reeling it was off  :smt009 I cant wait to get out there and give it another shot!   :smt044  I'll try and post some pics tonight when I get home!

No.  Snodgrass is a great spot too though.  More central location.  Tiki.
