Hi Yakers:

Anything else that I should bring up that, Shelter Cove might not have or

bring extra cash, you will see some amazing creations and you will kick yourself for not bringing money.

If you don't find any lures, bats, hooks, etc. hand made by true artisans, that you can't live without, we might be able to arrange a poker game...hum?

If someone brings a smoker we may be able to brine up and smoke some salmon!  (I know, I'm getting really optimistic about this!)   :smt001

How much rope for the crab traps, and would it be best to use rings or traps?
Any and all my catch will be donated to the party.

I'm bringing my crabtraps too, Scott. So hopefully I have something to throw in the pot.
Eric, crabbing is pretty shallow there, like 40-60ft. So you'd need 80ft per trap @ max (could probably get by w/50ft, if necessary). Crab grounds are about a mile south of the launch. I think traps w/b better than rings, unless you plan to tend & check the rings often. But since RF season is open, you'll probably want to drop traps then go fishing for a few hours, before returning to pull the traps.
