Nice day at Lake Chabot Vallejo 3/4

Officially, this is no longer a "1 fish limit" lake    Dave CP&R a 20+ lb fish and I'm Zero for 3 on Kitty!  Will post pictures after I resized them.

What a beautiful day OTW!  Dave caught 2 fat fish and I got a skunk    I tried clam, Mackerel, and Salame but no Kitty love.  It's now "personal" between me & the catfish in this lake    I was anchored mid lake fishing for catfish and saw Dave hooked a fish and it took him awhile to land it.  Came over to take a picture of the fish and it's probably the biggest fish in this lake.  Here are some pictures of this fish...

About 1/2 hour later,  he got another hookup and this time it's the right kind of fish that he's looking for    It a fat 17+ inch LMB which was CP&R.

Not sure if that is legal for this lake.  Not a bad idea though 

awesome!  I love catching carp!  they always fight like no other.  Wish they were in the AOTY, that would be a hoot

I don't get it, I caught tons of Catfish in all all kinds of weather and seasons.  Jedmo told me lots of Catfish in this lake and can't believe that they refuse to take my offers of: live minnow, night crawler, shrimp, Mackerel, chicken liver, clam, & even salame!   Look at my baits for them today,  the clams and salame were delicious (I ate them to make sure they're good baits)  

That's amazing Dave. WTG on that fat carp. I'm sure you had a blast fighting the
fish in. Not bad on the LMB as well. That will certainly give you some decent points for the AOTY. No doubt more quality fish to come from you. Better luck
next time Sonny. You'll get that kitty soon enough.
