IMO that is some cutting edge s#it!
I love how Hobie has adapted that to fit previously purchased kayaks.
I am not saying I would ever use it but I am not dismissing it either.
I can really appreciate great innovations but at $1900 it would be a long long long time before it is ever on my kayak....C'mon Lotto!

Just like any electronics devices, price will come down with time. So we might be able to afford it in about 5 years from now  :smt003

Just like Tote, I'm not sure I would want one, but that is pretty damn cool!  :smt004

Looks like they want to be like somwone else  :smt005
Maybe someday they will learn to paddle a kayak and leave the bikes at home :smt044
In the mean time F.W. has a new torque (sand) for $1700.00 and no tax on the 2&3 of April

 Don't be a Hater.....   :smt002

Some of us would not even be able to kayakfish if were not for the Hobie mirage Drive system...

That's me....  when I found kayakfishing and looking for a " Paddle " Kayak...

A ladder took me out at a Fire and Broke my shoulder... I was so Bummed....  :smt010

Then I found this Hobie Mirage Drive and my life has been changed forever...

I also think Hobie has stood on it's own as far as Innovation....

and Slamming Hobie and pushing your product is pushing it a bit....

And Just for the Record, I always point out The Trident as a Fine quality Kayak to try before buying as to see what's best for that particular person...

Also, who is coping who?  I do believe Native Watercraft was first in this venue...

so lets be fair about this...

 Thanks

Yes, why would anybody want to have their arms free while fishing, makes no sense!

Point's taken,
Just having fun - Don't take things so serious :smt003

It's been debated many times here before  and the peddlers and paddlers always trash each other - Who really cares as long as you get out and have fun.

Looks like a cool little boat. And that's truly what it becomes once you add a motor and register it w/the DMV...a boat. With the tough economy right now, you can actually buy a real boat for that kind of scratch!

I'm not so sure that OK came out with theirs before Hobie.
