I got my first ever DFG ticket 3 years ago, my forgetfulness finally cost me. Forgot to fill out the ab card while still in the yak, That's OK now it wasn't then.

I bought 4,

Proudly displayed.  I very much appreciate the hard work it takes to be a Warden.

Maybe stamps will be insurance against being nailed for honest, minor violations.

Plus the bearer of the stamp is effectively deputized.

At least that's the way I understand it.

It's a sad state of affairs. Think I'll order two: one for the car, one for the yak.  :smt002

In Davis, all the houses that host parties will be sure to donate money to the Davis police and get their stickers to post on the front door, so they might get cut some slack when the cops have to show up to for noise complaints.  The wardens are like any other enforcement agency, some guys are pretty cool and a few have huge ego's because they have a badge and gun.  I'll pick up a few for the yaks and my truck.

These guys work pretty dang hard and receive very little respect, unlike all of the other glorified LEOS [which they obviously deserve btw]. Although I'm skeptical of how this money will benefit them (as a group and individually) because it seems like the state can decide it needs that money for budget shortfalls and use it however they want (just like they did w/the revenue from license sales etc). I support our DFG wardens by knowing + obeying the regulations, and treating them w/respect when approached.
