the lake is filling up, but nowhere near full yet. I got a ticket(pic1) and then a SpaceCowBen(pic2) landed down and we paddled around making sure there were NO Real_FISH to be found(see pic3)  Did not see one on the Fish
Finder nor did we get a hit. I was only targeting points at 30-40ft. with dropshotted worms, drifted&jigg'd Crawdad immitations.

as we paddled the lake we saw this hole(see pic1) along the shore, so we stopped and looked at it for a while. Then we headed up creek(pic2) to see what we could see, this is all that we saw.(see pic3)

....Ben said his yak felt a little funny as we returned to the launch. I don't know what happened, but he did have a few cups to drain out. If you need details on his SpaceBoots or how'd all that water get in his yak?

Wow! That is a lot of water inside Ben's boat. I hope nothing serious had happened. Catfish should be very good there right now so I heard. Thanks for the report Adam.

Hey Ben, did you make a SOT Live-Well, or what is that piece of white plastic for?

Now, Adam, you shouldn't use hate when referring to kayaking and fishing.  I am sure that was still better than work.  Even without 'real' fish, that was one of the more interesting reports I have seen in a while. Especially the hole.  WTF was that all about?

All that water coming out the boat looks like newchickkayaker's friend Diana took it out for a joy ride and did a number on it

LOL :smt005 I knew Adam was going to post a "caption" of the shot he took of me washing out the inside of my yak!
It was getting a bit funky- dry and funky- so I decided to give the inside a good rinse with some sweet-water for a change(muir).
Those space-boots I made out of a roll of insulating blanket extra from a smoker-shroud I made, those things made my feet toasty warm the second I put my feet in them, Sturgies here I come!
