Thats a HUGE no.  I have several ordered, and some ordered for customers, but so far no boats have showed.  Pretty much in the calling and harassing daily mode.  I have one demo unit, but that is is so far for NorCal.

Looking to buy in the near future but would like to see the Marauder before I buy. I have my name on a p 15 @ local dealer but no obligation to buy.

I have one on order through Sean... can't wait.  (I think my wife may be getting jealous).  Fortunately Sean is very understanding about my frequent phone calls.  It's kinda like the Smurfs...

Spelling cow...who invited him to the party anyways? Sure he's improved my spelling 3000%...sometimes I just wanna post.

Erik and Sharkbait - No worries on the calls.  After I got off the river (sorry I couldnt talk but I was headed for one of many big strainers I found yesterday) I called Cobra to get the real story.  I was told by John in MFG. that mine and yours left last week, and that all of the others would leave this week.  Not true.  I spoke with the owner, and he said John was trying to be optomistic, but although they made my order, all of the boats had the same issue.  The front scupper is getting a small crack as it comes out of the mold.  They can weld the scupper closed, but I told him I wasn't interested in new boats with welded scuppers.

They stopped production last Thurday to mess with the mold, and hopefully alleviate the problem.  We'll see.  In other words sit tight, unless you want a bargain on a welded boat.  The longer we wait, the better the boats will be, but if anyone needs a boat to bridge the gap, I'll gladly loan you a demo so you can get out there.

Bummer... pretty balzy of them to tell you they'd been shipped last week.  Glad they came clean with the issue.  We don't need no stinkin' welded scupper holes.

(I don't think balzy is in the spelling cow).

Sitting tight...

Go to your profile and you can select whither or not you want it to check your spelling every time. If you choose no you can still hit the spell check button when you want. I'm sure none of these guys will ever make fun of a mis-spelled word.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Thanks for the update Sean.

I don't know why these guys just don't own up to this crap from the start instead of pissing people off with lies. Hell I think most of us expect some issues from a new model. Sounds like they jumped the gun a little on the launch of this boat ... didn't they do that with another boat that they soon discontinued?

I'd rather wait for new good boat than a fixed boat.

Sitting tight... +1 (woohoo thanks Mickfish)

I appreciate your patience guys.  I wish I thought it was ballzy, but I think it was just plain lame.  We are adults, we can handle the truth.  Made up BS just heightens expectations and elevates emotions.  I was calling A-Tech shipping Santa Rosa looking for my boats, and they were thinking I was crazy...turns out I was.  I'm real sure that they got my point on no more stories, and just the real deal from now on.  I'll keep everyone posted.  Again, thanks for the patience.

Heck, I'd take a boat with a welded scupper for the right price
