I got my last dump on video.  Well, sort of.  Had the video rolling while the camera was in my lap.  I got to dig that video up, edit it a bit, and post it for you all to get a laugh out of.  I think I was in the water all of 10 seconds.  Scallen swears I levitated out of the water!!!

It looks to me like the guy could've self-rescued but he didn't want to dump his tackle and he was leary of the animal that just attacked.  Bravo to him for showing a vid that's entertaining, educational and made him vulnerable to turkies who'd criticize him!

yeah, saw his interview with kayak angler magazine, he said he didn't try to self rescue since he didn't feel it was necessary to risk his camera gear when he had friends close by.  guess that makes a little bit of sense if the camera gear isn't waterproof and is expensive.

That is some funny shit. I'm sure he can handle any situation on a kayak better than 80% of the people on this site. Hell I would would had someone give me a hand if I had all that shit on my kayak too. He is fishing some calm ass water and proably never has seen something like this before and was prepared for a nice day fishing and filming. If he had needed to rescue himself I'm sure he could have and I'm sure he can guide his area with the best of them.
