Back in the mid to late 70's i worked salmon boats down the coast of Or trying to get home to Ukiah made it to Cosbay than hitch hiked to brookings got on a tuna boat ...that's what we were using for SALMON....thx

The Cove is unique - the salmon seem to mingle with the rockfish alot.  Trolling a chovie is, IMO, one of the best methods for catching a salmon (I've caught many at the Cove on that including a 21.5 and a 38 pounder - from the yak), and you'll ALSO catch lots of rockfish and lingcod on that, depending on how deep you troll...

Trade secret.

Yeah Baby...it's all about the Chrome..... was on the Umpqua last week a 16 and a 6 they were landing up to 45 #ers....wooohooo...I'm smoking some as we speak for GS4 also saved some for wasabie/soy/ginger

People have been finding a few sanddabs in the gut of salmon down here lately. How weird is that? Those 'dabs don't get no breaks!

It looks like we're very likely to have 80 paid participants - all at $25/each because I'm so wimpy about laying down the law...  Anyway, I've also made a significant purchase from Lost Coast Tackle Co. to be able to provide some goodies for the tournee packets.  IF we do get those 80 paid registrations at $25/each it looks like I'll end up with about $300 or more for raffles at the potluck.   

Don't forget that turning in your scorecard is the only way to get in the raffle.  Your scorecard comes in your tournee packet with the rules, a Hawg Trough Extension and connector, and the Lost Coast Tackle goodies.

I wish I could be put in a medically-induced coma for about 48 hours!!!

I just bought a Hawg Trough from hook1 along with a wheelez.........but after taking the wheelez out of the box wished i would've done more research, had the little wheelz....   but still I'm pumped up...an attachment for my hawg trough....oh yeah...Because I'm going to need that attachment to measure those monster GS4 FISH!!!

and count 2 more newbies to sign up...one is salted the other we will find out....Scott and his buddy will be new NCKA certified fish aholics.... I emailed and called them to do the waiver...Thx for the PM

Nothings better than the "Big Blue" that's what we learn from.........but it's all good........the biggest thing I've learned is take some sea sick pills before u go OTW...and the whole day is good...if u don't it's a crap shoot...
