Sat or Sun for Crabs

Anyone up for a HMB trip for some crabs? I suppose we could soak some bait for a lonely hali while we wait. Sun may be a the better day?

I was planning on trying my luck but not sure when ill be there. Mabye Ill see ya there.

Yeah. Seems foolish not to fish. Looks like there is Pigeon Pt. Hook Up....I may do that. Bassman/Ben are you avail on Sun?

i would say nope...saturday is the day for me but i need to find someone to go with. 

pigeon fishing is good but not so sure about the crabbing.  previous years reports did not appear to have many keepers, but good luck if that's where you go.

  There's lots of sharks in PP harbor for a little action. I saw one while paddling in there in shallow water last week (3'+).
  Doug from HMBK once told me he's seen them school up by the boat launch this time of year.

Tru dat. I was out there last year in the harbor expecting nothing. I ended up C&R 4 nice leps.

can u fish for leps all year in the harbor?

crab or fish...crab or fish...combo or just fish...just crabs or just fish...HMB or Monterey...or Big Sur....?
 

Theres crabs out there just be ready to let it soak. A lot of undersizes. Threw back quite a few  5 1/2's  and got lucky with these.

Anyone going out tomorrow to HMB for crabs??? Sunday starts the comercial season, would really like to get out and try and find a few before there a a few thousand pots in the water.

Well, I've been dreaming of crab for a weeek, but haven't found any firm plans yet.   If your down, I'll see you there    Just mucking with the gear and bait right now...

OK I'm in. We got friends coming over so I need to deliver! I think Joe said 7am ish and HMBK launch. Does that work for you?

I'll be waiving at you guys from the jetty. Unfortunately, I have no truck to transport my kayak for the mean time.
