Dude if anybody can kick cancer's ass it'd be you Joel! You are a very positive, upbeat, and generous person---that's why everybody is proud to have you as a friend. And also why everybody here has your back. Let me know if you need anything bro. Seriously dude.

Hey Joel I am sorry to hear about this.  I hope it is caught early enough to be treated and get you headed up north.

mooch, when I heard about you possibly being ill last week it was crushing. I can't even imagine the effect it on you. With all the excitement of a new adventure in Alaska being so close to coming to fruition, only to be kicked in the nuts with news that is probably the the most dreaded that anyone could receive and one all of us fear hearing! The waiting right now is the hardest part, the unknowing is excruciating to you and  to all that know you. What you do know is that you have endless people that would do anything to help you kick this,no matter how serious it may or may not turn out to be. so lets all put on our game faces and kick this thing!!!! We love you brother, zilla

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes......I'm doing fine despite my predicament. Went back to see the doc today to give out some more blood samples for them to study. They rescheduled me for the Oncologist clinic on May 27Th. I'll keep everyone updated.

Joel,

Our prayers and thoughts are with you.  It was an honor to fish with you last weekend.  Kristine says hello and sends her best.  Stay positive and be true to yourself - that's who you are.  You'll get through this and have even more friends than you have now.
