ft ross fri 10/30

I wished to find the VermillionPavillion and leave with 10 of them, but I could only find two twins @20", fooled on a BillsCustomSwimbait in 50-60'. It was the most fish I've killed in one day since my shore-trouting days and it felt good to know that I and family would be able to enjoy some when the ocean is rough and the winter is in full effect.

Awesome report guys!!!  Just love them underwater shots!!  I gotta do more of that!  Too bad I didn't make it to the Fort this year    Guess ill have to plan on it next year!!!   

Sick trip dudes.  I never got out to the fort this year, thinking that the place is fished out.  Boy, what a mistake.  I'm def going to spend at least one trip there next year.  beauty pics all

...as i left the parking lot(right after everyone departed) a DFG truck flicks on the lights and cuts me off, head on. They both jump out and........soon get back into their truck after a full search for abs.......abs? i then lifted my shirt & showed her my six-pack. I told them it was good to see them out doing their jobs.....they thanked me, i thanked them= ALL GOOD!

It's my pleasure Jim.  That place is almost as beautiful as the Horse Shoe!  Wish we've had more day light so I can spend more time explore that cove.  Maybe next time...

I can't go crabbing this weekend sonny but hope to hit it veterans day.

yeah i agree. i did not see any explosives there. i am pretty sure they did that with a two liter bottle of diet pepsi and a box of mentos.
