another beautiful day at the fort. the skies were clear and the sea was flat. there were at least 15 kayakers on the water. i launched with ernest(lucky-13) about 8:30 and we did some absnatching for a bunch clickers in the north cove. visibilty was great. After that, we paddled north and spent the rest of the day filling our stringers with assorted rockfish including a few nice reds. i was fishing knife-jigs tipped with whole squid. it was a wonderful day on the water and spirits were high.  i'll post pics in the morning.

Met many old and new faces today at the Fort.  It's a beautiful day and the water is clear blue and flat calm!  Caught a bunch of Golfers, 1 under Ling, and the first Canary of the year (released of course  :smt003).  I'll let the pictures do the talking...

The Fort did become a lake today contrary to what NOAA predicted the night before.  It's a good thing everyone that committed to go did, for it turned out to be one of the best day ever at the Ft. :smt003

Wow.  The paddle alone would have been worth it.  But fish to boot!

We need a text message red alert system for days like this.

Thanks for the pics.  Nice job.
