so I hit the airport today for 10 + hours of fishing and got sort of lucky with a 44in sturgeon,
and about 20 sharks some big and some small. the sturgeon are bitting for sure but not all the
way out, but just right off shore by the fiery dock got this one about 150 yards from shore in front
of the pole.

One thing I will tell you is that when you catch a sturgeon allways retie your main line because
I f*&^up today that little fu$%er I got wrapped him self around my main line as I brought him to the
yak and frayed my line so when I hooked up the next time I had a nice sturgeon on who took one run
and the mainline snapped  :smt013 what a dumb ass I know better to :smt009 :smt010

So if any of you guys want to give it a try you have a good chance but bring lott's of bait

Sweet... Mel loves that place. In the last two years, she's spent probably 25 minutes fishing for dinos there. About an hour fighting them and about 1000 hours talking crap about how easy sturgeon fishing REALLY is. Yeah right... one of these days... she'll pay. Nice job on the catch.
