Nice job.  It was a pleasure to see you and your kid fish together at the Big Sur campout.  I can't wait to get my kids kayak fishing in the ocean.  Andy

Ja man, good fish!

Nathan and I were out there on Sunday heading in when your pals were going out.  Only reason I know is I recognize the kid with the socks, launching from the tankwell!  Nathan was supposed to be somewhere on sunday but at the last minute it was cancelled so we headed out to fish and spear.  Fishing sucked, a few gophers between us.  We were diving in front of the island in shallow water, shot a few perch and grass rockies.

amazing how all the kelp is gone.

Right on, Andy!

Are those rubberlips or striped perch?  Hard to tell from the pic.

I heard people call the Rainbow perch! They are pretty good on the BBQ...
