Early Am is 2.0 to 2.5 ft. NW waves 15+ mph winds
Early PM waves drop of to 1.0 wind picks up to 25+mph.

But you never really know until you're standing on the beach, counting the sets...

Big difference between my WX intel and Darius's. Mine comes off surf-forecast.com.

Huge diff!  Surfline seems to be much more reasonable looking than the NOAA.

According to NOAA, the area directly off Bean looks like this:
-Saturday:  Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming WNW 6 to 11 kt in the morning. Patchy fog before 11am. WNW swell 5 feet at 7 seconds. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.
-Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming WNW 5 to 10 kt in the morning. Mostly sunny. WNW swell 6 feet. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.

This is the forecast specifically for the Bean. Hit the zoom button a couple times and you'll see: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=37.22554448954264&lon=-122.43095397949219&site=mtr&smap=1&marine=1&unit=0&lg=en

I hit Da Bean this morning. The forecasted afternoon winds never really arrived. Although there were pretty decent wind rollers on the outside, the launch and landing was a piece of cake.

Sadly, I cannot make it again tomorrow...  :smt009
