What a great idea on painting your name on the front of your yak, way easy to remember who you fishing with and who flip :smt044 :smt044, I've seen FishHunter, BloodBath, and DR.Habanero... what do you think if we put our names on our boat isn't that really helpful for everyone?

that's fine, as long as you plan to never sell your kayak for another. you could do it like EWB with stickers so its removable.

I did some custom tattoo work to my yak last weekend. No name on the bow, but I did put a lingcod on the port side, and a halibut on the starboard side :smt002

Stickers might be better than paint or sharpie, in this situation.

BTW if you see an old blue Drifter in Santa Cruz with the words "SIN COAST" scrawled across the bow....it's not me. Seriously.

yep I just used the stickers that they sell at west marine that PB'rs use for the CF #'s. I think they were like .65 each. I am sure you can find them cheaper some place else. So far they are holding up well. This way if I am killing it ppl will be impressed. More likely they will know who is puking and eating shit on a beach landing. Either way I make the news right?!?

This thread reminds me know that you started it, I drove by NB beach today on my way into work to scope it out, there was about 6 yak's fishing maybe 40 feet or so offshore, real close in, stripers im guessing.. Sure wish I had the day off, so who was it? I didnt see any names on boats!

I did mine for the Islander trip and what a difference it made not only easily identifying the yak on the rack but everyone could easily tell where I was OTW.
It's pretty cool as long as you are using the kayak and not someone who could make you look bad.
I was going to do the Revo but the GF begged me not to. I can cash in those GAF pts for a long long time.

Hmm, the possibilities...

"Eric B" on the bow, and "Darius" on the bottom of my main yak...

"Student Driver" or "Noob!" on the loaner...

Same here Darius.
Hey D, help a brother out. I went to Costco to look for those Goldilock's rolls you had and couldn't find them.
Remind me where you got yours please. Those were da bomb.
Sorry to get off topic but man that was a tasty treat!
