Caught this one trolling a live sardine down the beach... weighed out at 17.5 lbs!.. Kept a smaller model to complete my limit at 7 lbs... Did one last pass and hooked up one that was double the size. He took off for the kelp and busted me off pretty kwik... Thats our new cat tuffy in the background. He's already learned to appreciate fresh fish when I bring it home!.. The last ones my best catch ever!... Caught her casting a pencil popper on my 12 ft lamiglass surf rod... She's definitely a keeper.. In our household we have a DAF (domestic accountability factor) where if I get all the honey do's done for the week, I get a massage and fish cooked for me after a day of fishing. Married life aint that bad!

Dude! You are really proving that SC does have fish!
After catching all these nice fish, it's gonna be hard to return to work in a few weeks.

Good to meet you yesterday, Brendan. Glad I decided to take a walk down the Capitola wharf to see what people were catching. That is one beast of a striper!

Brendan, was that you in the Orange Kayak just outside the Surf at the Harbor Beach?  I couldn't believe what I was seeing with Sea Lions hunting in the first breakers not more than 5 feet off the beach.

Brendan must be scanning his kayak for tracking devices before each session out. I'm sure he's found at least one!
