almost went down that way but wanted to check out a spot I've never launched that's usually not launchable

sniffed around for striper action and tossed hair-raisers at the little bit of bait that was around but no luck

only 2 hours in and out, 1st time on the water in almost 2 years felt good

Great job! It is reports like this that get me all wound up to get out on the water again soon. It is always sweet when the decision you make to go it alone pays off.
