Glad you guys had some action. My possee and I only had a few scratched baits. But the Sardine action was off the charts.

Great hookup, the Legends... WTG on the thresher, I think they taste better than any shark, but you did a good thing to release a little baby like that, another 2 or 3 feet and...its what's for dinner.

Adam -

Nice thresher and even nicer letting it go. If only threshers and WSB were part of AOTY. Nice to see you riding the good karma from the "giving back" event. You earned it.

Big congrats on the thresher Adam. The fish gods have been really good to you
lately. When time permits, maybe you should play the lotto. You never know.
Your mojo may linger towards the lucky ticket. :smt003

Thanks to SCAllen for letting me take an extended test paddle of the T-15, I am in love!!! :-) thanks to polepole for carpooling and making sure I got my sleepy head out of bed. I missed 2 sure halibut bites, I was using hooks that where way to small for the bait. The bite was pretty hot I think we all missed at least one if not 2 bites each.

Ah what a day fishing with the Jedii Masters, Jedii and Genral Aka-Kimo ( a.k.a. Genral Triggerfish  :smt001) and the Aka Kimo Tribe. Well its pretty much all been said. The force ran strong among some, while I straight blanked for the 2nd time in a row. Actually, not true...I caught a few rockies, but had a coupla pounds of cho flesh stashed, so they were pardend.

Sharky is was great fishing with you, sorry you where 2 minutes late on getting your bait down  :smt002

When Adam hooked his halibut both polepole and I both had solid halibut bites that we both missed, pretty crazy we almost had a triple hookup.

side note......when we were making bait, a PB yells out if we know his boy Ariel? I replied"Fished with him last week at LindaMar!"...he yelled back,"are you the guy who got the WSB?"...i pumped my fist and felt on top of the world(my own little)
WHATaSMALLoceanWEfishIN? :smt003

WTG Adam!!!!! I took A drove over to the harbor waiting for SCALLEn and noticed one of your trucks was going to get ticketed for expired time in the meter, I think the truck was A Tahoe? Tan in color with an NCKA shirt drapped over passenger seat, anyway feed the meter as the ticket was about to get issued.Close call! Anyway woke up @ 5:00 jumped in my van and had A dead batterie, couldnt make it out with you guys!!!!! :smt013...Next time, thanks for the report.....
dude!  that sucks on the dead batt...you should have lots of good karma in the bank already!  .....that was Linos Tahoe and we paid the HarborMaster for an AllDayPass that was in the window(it should have been) Lino?!  anyway, it's things like that, that should have your GoodKarmaAccount overflowing!
Right on Bro, and i'll see ya' at Albion!

I've missed four halibut in the past week in that area while fishing sardines, live and dead.  Really major jaw size on 3, possibly fourth as well which was filleted. Check out the 42lb hali on the 13th bayside report.
That's great catching that thresher like that.  You're the definition of something or other in the dictionary. Really some kind of happy. Congrats!
