Yes we went to Keiths bait shop as in no bait. He had some punk shiners and we managed to scrape up a dozen for myself and redyak. Slammer got the last 4. Launched at 7:30 With some others folks. I had a nice takedown right off the bat and thought oh boy its starting good. That was it for along while. The wind picked up out of the SSE and sometimes it was just smoking. We tried once to go around the south cement point and whoa big wind ,and wind waves. Then there was an unsettled period when the wind just couldnt make its mind up. All the while we just kept trying different areas. At 1 on the nose the wind started coming from the west like it does there and We almost bagged it but kept on fishing and paddling. Getting down to our last shiners and at 3:30 the wind just died. The top of the tide was coming on and everything just quieted down. Then Jim gets bit and lands one. I paddle over and within minutes I have one on. I played this sucker to the max wanting every ounce of the fishes energy to supplicate me for the long day on the water. 8.5 hours in the saddle. It measured out at 28 inches. Not even worth looking at damn near with all the large halis being caught these days but I'll take it. Oh yes. Off the water at 5. Flat and hot. Keith is still an ass, god bless his soul. The last pic was taken at 5pm

I have a few pics I'll get up tmw of Craig and Sonny's hali's. Thanks you guys for sticking it out today. Kiel was rewarded early with a hali while we three had to wait the tide out for our rewards. Thanks Craig for driving and the last shiner, the one that got the job done, and Sonny for the snacks and ice, I appreciate you guys. WTG Maddog on the striper I think that was the only one caught today at Paradise. Cameron I hope your wrist is better soon and in time for Albion. Everyone launching at Paradise please use the handrail to get down & up. It's a lot safer. jim

Got to the parking lot around 7:15am.  Thank you Jack/Slammer for picking up the last 4 shiners for me and Kiel.  Got a BIG pull down around 10:30am while eating my snack (once again psychic power  :smt003) the clicker was going fast, got the rod on hand and set the hook but it got off with 1/2 of my last Shiner  :smt009  Caught 1 undersized Hali and a barely legal on pickeled Shiners (thanks Allen/otobepelagic for the tip  :smt002).  It's a great day at Paradise and glad to meet old and new NCKA's faces.  Here are some picture I took:
