I lost my Tarpon

Took my wife out a couple weeks ago for her maiden kayak voyage. She did real good right from the start in my Pungo 120. Then she wanted to paddle the T160 I was fishing from. At first I saw no real harm in that. Then.......I had to fish from the small boat the rest of the day. She wouldn't let me back on the T160. I may need another SOT.

It looks like she has stolen your MADNESS mobile.  Sorry about that, but it happens.  You can always say she was following your lead into the MADNESS.  I'm lucky, my wife doesn't like fish or fishing.

You should be glad that your wife love the sport!  Now stop crying and go get a brand new T160 for yourself

To get your T160 back you should promise her a new boat of her choice. Having a wife that likes to paddle with you is a good thing.

that is a yak that needs to be locked up, no one paddle my 160 dh but me. 

It does have the Tarpon logo.
 I'm glad she likes the kayak and not the racecar. A new kayak would be a lot more affordable than buying her a dragster and a new trailer to haul both cars. I've been racing too much lately and need to get the yak wet more often. But, I've been paying some of the bills racing. Take the good with the bad I guess.

 

I can see how that would happen, though I paddle a T140, I LOVE IT!   

Make her load the one she's going to paddle, ("it's all part of the kayaking experience, Hon").

SIK's suck IMO.
Give her the Tarpon, get rid of the SIK and get the kayak of your dream.

The SIK is for duck hunting. Blends in well with where I go.

Good idea on the loading thing. I'll give that a try.
