I am looking for used or new camp dutch ovens. I would like a 14" and 16" size. Anyone know where I can get a good price on these? Online or in norcal.

Need them for the Albion peach cobblers.

My wife and I have been doing the "Dutch Oven" thing for awhile. If you are looking for a new one, go to the sportsman warehouse. They also have some DVDs to help you on the cooking. There are so many types of oven's that it is hard to pick the right one. Cast iron is my favorite, and is a lot cheaper. If you go the alumina anodized ones, they are very pricey. You can also check on GL. You have to know how many people you are also feeding. We also have the bigger ones, but are going to get a couple of small ones. Most of the time it is the wife and I. When you get one, make sure to try and cook a batch of corn bread!!!! It is SOOOOOOO moist and great with the stew that you cook. GOOD LUCK. Let me know how things turn out and will help you with some recipes. Rory

I noticed Harbor Freight has some...  don't know the size.

Walmart carries the Lodge line.

Thanks for the heads up Rory. I have a smaller one but I need to maximum production capacity for Albion, other I might be hunted down by the Fish Hunter!

Thanks Eric B. I will look into HF too.

Longs Drugs in sly park has good prices, I picked one up there, and also harbor freight has good prices.  Make sure you season them proper prior to cooking food.

No need to continue the hunt. I bought one and borrow FM1's. Two cobblers should be enough right?  :smt044

I am thoroughly confused!

For some reason, I thought a “Dutch Oven” was when you farted in bed, then pulled the covers over your wife’s head…?

So I’m thinking: how could it be adapted for camping….hmmm?
Maybe it would work if you had a two-person sleeping bag. Or maybe the tent itself becomes the “Oven” ?

But yeah, you guys are clearly talking about something else. So…nevermind!
I don't even wanna know what the heck a "Peach Cobbler" is!
