Hi Dave - I'll be going with two buddies, launching a little north of Bean.  We might park a truck at Bean and do the long drift.  If the wind isn't coming up, I'll be there around 7:30-8:00.  Otherwise I'll be there at 6:30.  Shoot me a note if you want to try a different launch.

Decent paddling skills are a requirement for surf launch / landings.

If you just started paddling, you may want to improve your skills and get more time on the water before attempting a surf launch.

Darius, I would show up and check it out. People can warn you about certain things but it could be flat as shit with no problem too.

Very true.  Sometimes the biggest threat is the poison oak along the trail and roadside.

The buoys are showing a decrease in wind and swell and the swell model is looking real  purple/blue for Friday

Weather still looks good for tomorrow. Here in Vallejo we are supposed to have 20 mph winds with 35 mph gusts, but the peninsula coast is calling for only 5-10 mph west winds. Hopefully that holds true!
