Late report but took a week off work and have not been able to get on here since.
Went camping 6/3-7 Yes in the middle of an incredible thunderstorm . Little hard to breath with 2 hundred pounds (3 labs) huddled on my chest. Fishing was good with dark red rooster tail the only color they really wanted . Caught 17 browns over 2 days of off and on rain then nothing , fished for 8 hrs. on 3rd day and not a bite but collected 24 crawdads. My daughter and I made a meal of those and  saved 4 trout for the smoker at home I was sworn to secrecy on location but it was near carr lake  off hwy 20 in the sierras

Thanks for the great report Brian. That shot with the waterfall and the pups is priceless.

I've got 2 daughters and time spent with them is really exceptional.

And we love them mudbugs!!!!
