Very cool report. That place looks earily fishy...
It is and then its over right after you can't get in and then its too warm but always great hiking. This is what it looked like 2 weeks before

Tahoe is the place for mud bugs if you really want some good ones they are so big it will blow your mind. Even upper Truckee has nice ones if you ever go up for a visit its worth price of a trap.I boil them in emeril's steak seasoning peal the meat out of tails and claws heat back up in garlic butter. My mouth is watering!

My mouth is watering too...been diving for them @ blue lake "lake Co."...so emeril's steak seasoining is a powder???

Yes, very nice report, the pics of the hidden lake are beautiful and the table fare looks delicious. Nice looking brown trout, it looks like you had some quality time there despite the rainy conditions. Thanks for the report, I'll be at Jackson Meadows Reservoir in a couple weeks and your report makes me a little anxious. I've got my crawfish trap ready and freshwater tackle stocked up and ready to go. I'm even planning on setting up a pole for some night time brown bullheads. Can't wait

Spent a very wet Labor Day at that lake back in 2000. Truly beautiful setting.

FYI - if it's really something you want to keep a secret, you might want to rename your pictures :)
