I plan to take the Ocean Kayak Frenzy out there! Now that's keeping it simple and light.

Can we cook in the parking area? I have a little gas grill we can use, if possible.  Im 70% in right now. Will know for sure by tomorrow.

Where's everyone staying?

Dustin the parking area is big. Its all gravel and just right next to the northern boundary of the park. Its not legal to spend the night there I think and the local sherriff is an ass Im told. Cooking I am sure is ok. No water No toilets. Just a large gravel lot next to the hiway. About 2-3 miles north of Fisk mill cove parking lot proper.

Craig, it looks like good conditions still, but the forecast just changed slightly - in the event that it becomes marginal, you're the only one who's done this, so if you think for any reason that the conditions aren't good for taking a yak out from there, let us know...Thanks!

Still looking forward to it...
Andrew

If the surf comes up too much we'll just launch at Stump and paddle up. Stump launch is easy.

Like Jim just said if it looks like too much we will go to Stump and launch there and paddle up. While cheering each other on. Remembering that the forcast for Pt Arena is at the buoy 19 miles offshore  So its my experience if it says 4 ft its usually calm onshore.
