So I've seen a lotta people on here talking about shelter cove. Good fishing? I've been trying to find places to rock fish that are closer to Sacramento than up past Bodega bay (where I usually go). maybe I'll plan a trip to Shelter Cove after the 14th... any info?

There is good fishing at the Cove. And it's within a half-mile of the launch. But Shelter Cove is waaaaaay further from Sac than Bodega... :smt009

There are actually 2 places in California called Shelter Cove.  One is just South of Pacifica and might be the one koiboi is thinking of.  The one everybody here has been talking about is in Humboldt.  If you google Shelter Cove, CA the Pacifica location is what comes up . . so that could be the source of confusion.

Much farther than Bodega Bay but well worth it if you can catch the right weather.
Fishing is cool
