As most of you know the Big Sur coastline was ravaged by some gnarly fires last summer and fall, and as a result, though not burned, a few of our favorite campgrounds were closed. They were set to be reopened by this spring, however, the state cannot afford the cleanup and retrofit costs. I have been in communication with State Park and CDF about the possibility of doing a weekend long cleanup at Limekiln, all tools and camping provided. This would involve 6 or so hours of work one day and a fishing op the next. Its all hypothetical at this point, and I'm writing mainly to see who might be interested. Let me know if this is something you might be down for.
Livin tha pirates life full time! Catchin big cbass in tha kelp all summer long Have fun, live well, conserve the resource, and ask me about my secret fishing spots. but I probably won't tell you, cuz their secret!

I'd be down, so long as it's not a weekend I already have planned! What an awesome idea! :smt002

Happy to see you're back in the mix here Brendan.

Limekiln clean up is a great idea, as long as I can fish a bit as reward  :smt001

I'd love to launch at Limekiln, so I'm in if its a weekend that I'm not swamped with other projects.
