Cops and Bad Guys

I know there are a few officers and law enforcement in our group here.  You guys have had a really rough stretch over the last few weeks (as a nationwide cohort), what with Oakland and now the Philadelphia tragedy.  Just wanted to shout out to y'all and encourage everyone to hang in there and keep doing what you do best - protect the innocent, serve the public, and enforce the laws to put bad people behind bars.  Keep your heads up, guys and gals in uniform

the "maturer" I get, the more I appreciate them too.....Keep it up, along with your chins.....we couldn't live free without your efforts and hard work(efforts).

I appreciate them more every day.....especially tonight when I was let off with a warning, after breaking the law (18 mph over the limit). The officer walked up to the truck and just said today he was giving me the only break he had given all day....I offered  no excuses just thanked him and then went on our way. Thank you sir.

i super-envisioned your head on his body......dude!, you got skills!   

As an officer I just have to say thank you and its nice to know someone appreciates the work we have to do.  I spend 8 to 16 hours a day dealing with people that hate me and my partners when all were trying to do is make sure its safe for everyone.  Our fallen brothers will be sadly missed and I know I for one appreciate that the gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep us safe. 
So again thank you and hope to see you out on the water.
