Despite all the recent winds/swell, the seas flattened & Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day.

Sunny, calm, and very little swell topside...   :smt001
but a completely different story underwater...  freezing, lots of surge, and poor visibility.   :smt011

Despite some adverse conditions and a general absence of fish, Stuart still managed to pull these hefty lings out.

After a slow start, we finished the day with a well rounded stringer of lings, an assortment of rockfish, couple perch, and a lonely calico bass.

Here are a couple UW pics as I was relegated to photographer status  :smt005

Great carnage shots, Fuzz.  I'm jealous - I need some clear water!   :smt001

Wow Fuzz thanks for the awesome story and pics.  How many trips did you go on before you started nailing fish like that?
