Hoochies Abound......

   I was headed home early today after being booted from jury dooty.....seems as though someone (me) couldn't be impartial  to another persons irresponsibility. A couple blocks from the house I see a yard sale and stop in. I am not normally a garage sale kinda guy but sometimes these guys have some odd stuff. I picked up three collapsible minnow nets and a few hoochies....that would be a few in every style and color....all for $25

   They told me to come back tomorrow for the rods and such....I'll be first in line....

Does anyone know if you can use the minnow traps for catching crawdads ? 


Abking , if I remember correctly that banana peel on the 4oz lead head caught me a nice greenling which in turn caught me a fatty ling...

SCORE! I just bought a pack of hoochies yesterday - not nearly as many, not nearly as cheap...

On another note, before I became such an avid fisherman the phrase "Hoochies Abound" would have made me think of the scenery on a Saturday night out with the guys...now I immediately think about how to best rig the hoochie for rock fishing.  Funny how things change... 

Also, I don't recommend doing a Google Image Search for "hoochie" when you're at work, around your wife/GF or when small children are near your monitor.  Just thought I'd mention it.   

Man....when I read the title "Hoochies Abound" I thought this was going to be a post about fishing Lake Havasu during Spring Break!

I like the Bananahoochi Mike. I will stop by the yard sale today and see what they offer. If I see anything of interest I will get it and offer it up here .....
