O2B and I hit Tahoe at 6AM.
The conditions never improved all day long.
Brutal day on the water.
O2B managed to stick one fish.
I don't think I will go back. I can't handle those kind of conditions.
We were off the water at 3:15.
Way to stick it out Allen.
I will let the pics tell the story.

beautiful flatwater, Tote.. almost looks like SE Alaska or some of the lakes up here in WA. btw, we had up to 22 inches of snow here within the last few days, so Tahoe is looking like Palm Springs right now..

Were your guides freezing in the morning?

It was 32 degrees when we started. We were definitely dressed for it but as soon as the sun came out it warmed right up and we started peeling the layers. No sooner did we do that then a very slight (like barely a ripple on the water slight) breeze came up and the layers went back on. Amazing how such little air movement can create such a chill.
No sooner did we get the layers back on the breeze went away and stayed away until we were done for the day.
Not 10 minutes after we hit shore the white caps showed up.
Our timing could not have been better.
