Great reports!

Although, I am a bit bummed right now!  After seeing the hookups thread about Tahoe I was stoked to hopefully be able to finally hook up with someone that knows just how to fish up here (only my second year fishing Tahoe and Donner).......So all last week I was watching the weather and knew Saturday would be a great day but I got lazy and didn't post up anything about going :smt012

So Saturday rolls around, I got a late start (honey do's)  and was out on Donner by 11:00 for a launch at the boat ramp.  I paddled across the lake trolling with a flatfish and a 3oz banana with leader.  Nothing....By the time I got to China Camp the winds were starting to pick up and with the water temp being 38* I didn't want to mess with it.  I had a long direct paddle into the wind back to the ramp, so I packed in all the rods, no fun.  All the while, I was thinking to myself, "you know.....I really should PM some of the folks (AKA Tote) on NCKA since the fishing season is getting going and I need to start catching something.........

Oh well, we live and learn.  I'll catch ya next time. Great report Tote and Oto.

Joel, The local kayak shops at Tahoe are waaay into SUPs. They told me all about weekly meets, monthly races and that it is the fastest growing water sport. Good luck with your race. I was thinking about SUPs and the only advantage I can think of  is "Stand Up Pee'n".  Just messing with you.....Allen

Bro....the SUP will be perfect for sight fishing (and fly fishing)....when I get my fly gear ready, I'm gonna challenge my buddy Hydrospider on a bass fishing trip at his own turf at clear lake  :smt045 It's gonna be his "soldiers" against my "SUP'er Fly"  :smt079
