Today I got me feet wet @ Still Water Cove in Pebble Beach. Met up with Art,( aka ) AGarcia in the early afternoon and suited up.Didnt know what to expect cause I never swam in the ocean before. After gaining coastal accsess,( through A very expensive lawn ) got down to the pools. I played around in some tide pools to try and get the feel for it. I immediatly got hooked! Wondered off to deeper water and saw some nice sized fish. Im gonna purchase A gun real soon!!! Art let me carrie his gun around for awhile so I was able to get A feel of it. Took one shot at A nice perch with no avail! I only had one band on. :smt009 I have alot to learn! Thanks for your patience Art, and you equiptment.I will hit the water real soon...Heres the only pic...Andy

glad you got to go out. that place is beautiful and even more so when the sun it out and the visibility in the water is real good. those rocks in the middle there, on a good day you can swim past them and see the bottom where lots of nice fish hang out.

welcome to freediving. now that you dive youll probably never go home without fish:)

Angel asked me if Andy had MFDT potential.

He broke mfdt cardinal rule #1.....

Quote
mfdt rules, bylaws and code of unethics
pg 1, section 1.1, etc...

never ever show up on time

But I let him slide

Water was freezing @ss cold and he swam around in a 3 mil surfsuit with no gloves.  I was impressed with his enthusiasm and desire to learn despite the gear.

He was shooting at perch.  When Angel heard.....he was impressed.

I think all thats left is to brand him with the tattoo and sacrifice a goat and he's good to go
..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker
