Here's Chris / Cpyak's kayak rack system.....

Nice   ... I just wish other rack mfrs would come up with similar but less versions.

I like it!  My problem with this rack though, is  the top of my campershell  is 7' up!

a nice fluffy towel...a white one...to match my truck   . I just upgraded my ghetto rack system to a Lumber Rack - seems to work better AND it holds my fishing rods as well....will post photos soon...

but once I hit the lottery...I'll be getting a shell for my truck "Duke" and getting the same rack cpyak is currently using  

I like it!  My problem with this rack though, is  the top of my campershell  is 7' up!

...note that Chis is 7 feet tall    and he has a Nissan Titan truck - which stands even taller. Without that specific rack, he'd have trouble trying to get the yak off and on his camper shell (he also has a bad shoulder). The rack is really made for the reg. joes.....I tried it myself and I think it's a winner. Chris told me that the manufacturer had made some upgrades on the current models. It's a lot of bling-bling but I think it's worth it.....

this GRS model II can also serves as a rod carrier. You can fit as much as 6 rods secured with bungee cords (3 on each side of the yak)

Nothing is left behind when I'm fishing. The white cooler on my truck is secured with a cable lock (someone tried to steal it once in my San Mateo neighborhood but the barking dogs scared them away) I'll definitely get a camper shell some time in the future. The lumber rack I got is compatible with a shell.

I can also fit two kayaks on this rack.

How can you get more info on that rack.Or is it custom?
