My racks are yakimas.  I took the decals off to draw attention away from thiefs.  One u bolt holds them in place on each arm.  The bars are sold separate.  Altogether price from cal kayak in oakland was about $280.  Not bad considering I throw 2x4's and plywood on them for my work.  Their lighter than a lumber rack and less wind resistant. 
 
I was able to put Reds fishndive and my hobie outback on there together also, although, the nose of the fishndive rubbed a nice silver dollar size hole in the paint of my cab. :smt011 

They work for me though.  Very convenient. Fat striper sold separately.   JTF..
