I think Im going to load up the yak and cruise by the coast today, just eyeballing these winds. Any one thought about steelhead fishing the San Lorrenzo? Today is Wednesday, it rained yesterday so the waters probably need to clear a bit but maybe if no more it could be fishable this weekend

I'm hitting the Carmel river this afternoon, around 2:30. Send a PM if anybody wants to meet up.

Sin Coast, thanks for the reminder. I saw on the news they breached the lagoon. Problem is I've got some errands to run in SC this morning and will be back over there again tonight(Pablo Moses performing at Moes Alley tonight and some friends invited). I live in Salinas so that would be quite a bit of bouncing around the Central coast today. Also Im by no means a computer whiz so honestly I dont think Ive ever PMed someone yet, translation- I dont know how. So please bare with me.

Haha, no problems. To send messages, just click on the quote-box thingy beneath someone's avatar picture. Much better chance of actually catching a steelhead in the SLR anyways. For me, it's just too far to drive with limited time after work....so I'm going to Carmel instead. And this is all non-yak too.
But good luck if you fish today!
