GONE FISHIN'
aka J & D Auto Repair

Jim (831) 899-1111

Jim is having a big sale.
Had to do some shopping for more fishing equipment, even though I may not need it...

Rods 20% off, 50% discount on mostly all his Salmon tackle, and most of the stuff is 10% off in the store.

This place doubles as a car repair shop, so don't be fooled when you check, re-check, and re-re-check the address while standing in front of the auto shop...the fishing store is upstairs from the shop but you have to walk through their administration office to get to it.

It's a local shop and he has mad knowledge.

Check it out.

Jim has some quality tackle. And he is a wonderful resource for local info. My favorite local shop.
With 20% off rods, I might have to take another look at his Lamiglas Kayak rods! Those things are niiiice.

I just purchased a lamiglas kokanee downrigger rod paired with an abu garcia 5500 a week and a half ago from Jim. Everything 20% off. Last weekend  I caught a just legal striper while fishing Middle river (Union point) in the southeast delta. Lots of fun on light tackle.

How do you like that inter/flow rod??
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Lingzilla, by inter/flow rod I'm assuming you're talking about the sabiki stick rod by ahi in the background. I like it because it helps on preventing snags with all the small sabiki hooks. The only downside is this rod has a thick butt which is difficult to slide in and out of my front west marine rod holders, so I keep it in the rod holders on my seat back which, obviously puts it behind me, and while paddling it is more or less in an upright position.Ok, this being said, the rod is about 7' or 8' and the weight at the rod tip(I usually use a 1 or 2 oz) makes the rod wobble extremely irritatingly(is that a word?) while paddling.

Mickfish, you will have to excuse my computer illiteracy. Today is the first time I've posted.
